    What is the purpose of the sales lead referral scheme?


    The sales lead referral scheme is a way to get more people to know about assimil8 products and services. When you refer a potential customer to us, we'll give you a reward if they become a paying customer.


    Who is eligible for this scheme?


    Anybody who is not in an assimil8 Director or a member of the Lead Gen, Sales and Marketing teams.


    What is a referral sales lead?


    A qualified sales lead is a potential customer who you have identified has a specific need for any assimil8 products or services. They are willing to have a call with a member of the assimil8 sales team.


    What is the next step after I refer a sales lead?


    Once you have referred a sales lead, the team will contact the lead to schedule a discovery call. 


    How long does the review process take?


    Typically, it takes 5-7 business days.


    How will I know if my referral becomes a client?


    We’ll keep you in the loop throughout the process, especially when they have made their first payment!


    Do I need to let the person know i'm referring them?


    Absolutely. If you don't then we sadly can't allocate it as a referral for you. We want people to know that assimil8 will be calling them and why.


    I’m an assimil8 employee. What’s in it for me?


    If the qualified sales lead you register signs a contract with assimil8, you will be paid a referral fee equivalent to 10% of the value of the invoice for the first 12 months of the contract after the client pays assimil8. If we have agreed that the client will pay in instalments, you will receive 10% of the value of each instalment after the client pays assimil8. You will receive payment with your next salary, and, like your salary, this will be taxable. As an example, if the client pays assimil8 £1,000,000 for the first 12 months, you will receive £100,000 before tax.


    I’m not an assimil8 employee. What’s in it for me?


    Unlike employees, other referrers will receive the gross amount and will be responsible for paying tax themselves. You will be paid within a month of providing your payment details. As an example, if the client pays assimil8 £1,000,000 for the first 12 months, you will receive £100,000.


    Is there a limit to how many referrals I can make?


    No, there’s no limit. The more you refer, the more you earn.


    How do I refer to a sales lead?


    1. Ask them about reporting in their business and if there are any problems. They may still be using excel and reporting is manual and time-consuming. 

    2. If you feel there is interest, share the most relevant one-page pdf on the referrals pages

    3. If they confirm that they are interested in speaking to us, brief them that they should be expecting this call from us and be willing to meet us.
    4. Register details of the sales lead on the referrals pages of the website. 
    5. They will receive a call from assimil8 to book a meeting. 


    If I make an introduction in person or by email, can that work as a referral?


    All referrals must be made via the assimil8 or Bundle website.

    How is the referral scheme communicated to employees?


    The referral scheme is communicated to employees through company-wide emails, Slack channel #a8-referrals, the referral pages of the assimil8 and Bundle websites, and internal sales training. 


    How is the referral scheme communicated to external referrers?


    The referral scheme is communicated to external referrers through sales outreach and marketing materials.


    What training and support is available for employees?


    The internal kick-off meeting will educate employees on the referral process. The referrals pages www.assimil8.com/referrals and getbundle.co.uk/referrals, with FAQs and information brochures, will be shared during the internal kick-off, and internal sales training sessions will be run periodically to help employees understand the programme.


    What training and support is available for external referrers?


    The referrals pages www.assimil8.com/referrals and getbundle.co.uk/referrals, with FAQs and information brochures, will be communicated to external referrers by the sales team.


    How are employees recognised and rewarded for their referrals?


    Employees who make successful referrals will be acknowledged and recognised internally in company-wide emails, on the general Slack channel, and at company events commensurate with their level of referral activity.


    What happens if my referral doesn’t become a client?


    While not every referral will convert, each one is a learning opportunity. We’ll provide feedback if possible.


    What legal and compliance considerations are associated with the referral scheme?


    The referral scheme has been reviewed by Management to ensure that it complies with UK laws, regulations, and assimil8 company policies. Fraudulent or unethical behaviour, such as referrals from employees to themselves or friends and family, will not be permitted. The terms and conditions of this referral program will be clearly communicated to employees in the kick-off meeting and to external referrers by sales to avoid any misunderstandings.


    Can I register sales leads retrospectively?


    Unfortunately not. This scheme starts officially on November 10th, 2023.


    I am an assimil8 employee. When will I receive my payment?


    This will be paid in the payroll after the client makes his payment. 


    I am not an assimil8 employee. When will I receive my payment?


    You will be contacted to provide your account details after the client makes the first payment.


    Should I only contact people I think might be interested in the United Kingdom?


    No, this scheme is global and is open to anybody anywhere in the world who has a need for, and the ability to buy, assimil8 products and services.


    Can you give me ideas of who might be interested in this scheme?


    Former business associates, colleagues, relatives, friends, phone and online contacts may be interested in this scheme.


    What types of companies or teams should I refer?


    Got friends in marketing, finance, healthcare, education, or another industry? Know someone pulling their hair out because of messy data? Send them our way! Bundle can help out in many sectors.


    What should I say to people I think might be interested in this scheme?


    Examples of questions you could ask are:


    • “What reporting tools are you using? Are they working for you?”
    • “How do you manage your data analytics?”
    • “How are you managing cashflow? We’re speaking to some people who are struggling with it using Excel…”
    • 'Are you struggling with Excel reporting?”
    • “What are you using to report over your data?
    • “How do you get on with reporting?”

    Commenting and resharing assimil8 and Bundle posts with a relevant comment according to your role and the same hashtags in the original post is essential for both keeping yourself up to date with assimil8’s latest offerings and making your LinkedIn network aware of the products and services assimil8 offer.


    You can contact potential sales leads in person, by phone, on platforms like WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram, Skype, Teams, Instagram, X, TikTok, SnapChat, GitHub, Discord or through a LinkedIn direct message or by personal or business email. 


    Be mindful of the fact that you have different contacts in all of the above and any other methods of communication you use, so go through these carefully to check if there is anybody who you think may be interested in assimil8 products and services.
